It all started with pain. When reality became too heavy, I would escape into my work. Into the soft embrace of yarn, the warm smiles of my clients, and the steady rhythm of orders. It saved me. But deep inside, something was still missing — color. The yarn in stock was always the same: safe, classic shades. Yet my soul craved brightness. Life. Emotions I could touch with my hands. Then one day, I accidentally stumbled upon a video of a woman hand-dyeing yarn. My heart tightened with longing. “I want to do that,” I whispered to myself. And so I tried. I had no knowledge, no experience — only a burning fire inside. The first skeins were terrible. The next ones were even worse. Hundreds of ruined yarns, moments of despair, dye on my hands, and tears in my eyes. But I didn’t give up. I learned to love even the failed skeins, because they were part of the journey.
